Free event on April 29 – Vancouver Mysteries is celebrating the official launch of its newest outdoor mystery game on April 29, 2023 and you’re invited! We hope you’ll join us between 12PM and 6PM for the launch of our new game Ghost Patrol.

Stephen Hamm: Theremin Man will be performing throughout the day. You may have already heard his spooky sounds when he joined us at Khatsahlano Street Party last summer or Car Free Day on Commercial Drive. This time he will be performing two sets of his original music and he will also answer questions about the theremin and, if you are lucky, let you try it out! Stephen Hamm has been a pivotal member of the Vancouver Music and Arts scene for over 25 years and has toured all over the world with various bands. N0w he tours as Stephen Hamm: Theremin Man and brings his theremin to classrooms in BC. You can also listen to his music on Spotify. Be sure to visit us at Lot 19 on April 29 at 12:30PM or 2:30PM to see Theremin Man.
HAUNTED HISTORY BC
Haunted History BC are special guests at our event. They will be there to talk about their books and answer questions about paranormal research and haunted places they’ve visited in Metro Vancouver. Recipients of the 2022 Heritage BC Award in the field of Education, Communication and Awareness, we are thrilled to have our favourite spooky sisters Regina Armstrong and Victoria Vancek with us at the launch of our paranormal-themed game on April 29. If you are a paranormal enthusiast, enjoy local folklore or consider yourself a history lover – we invite you to come see what Haunted History BC is all about. They will have their books and other merchandise there for purchase as well.

Ghost Patrol is our newest outdoor mystery game. Like our other outdoor mysteries, Ghost Patrol is only available in Vancouver and uses public art, iconic architecture and historic sites in challenges and the stories that unfold while you play. In Ghost Patrol, players are paranormal investigators. You will be sent out to explore four different hauntings in downtown Vancouver, covering three different decades (1910s, 1930s, 1970s). Vancouver Mysteries started in downtown Vancouver in 2014 with two outdoor mystery games. Ghost Patrol is our 5th outdoor mystery game. We also have 3 virtual games and 2 portable games.
