THE CASE OF THE HOTEL DETECTIVE
CAN YOU SOLVE THE MYSTERY?
Unlike other Vancouver Mysteries games, this is an INDOOR portable murder mystery game that takes place inside a hotel.
The Case of the Hotel Detective is a collaborative murder mystery with escape room style challenges played at a table.
These public special events are located inside a hotel and are 19+. This game is also available for private bookings (minors welcome) at this venue or as a portable mystery game we can bring to your home, office or rented space.
For this experience, you will be playing with other people who signed up for the same time – a Vancouver Mysteries detective will also be there for the whole game. If you want to book a private experience (minimum 5 players) please contact us (minors can participate in private bookings).
- Bookings available for 2 to 10 players. A $25/person deposit reserves your spot.
- You’ll have 90 minutes to solve the murder (unless you’re late- don’t be late!). Allow for at least 2 hours when planning your day.
- $55/person ticket price includes a Stock Board for two plus one drink per guest (house beer or house wine). Price does not include plus any service charges, taxes, gratuity.

The Murder Mystery: Solve the Case of the Hotel Detective at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Vancouver Downtown Suites at 550 West Hastings Street – a Vancouver Mysteries game experience that comes in two suitcases of evidence, with a detective to start your mystery and help with clues if you get stuck. A Vancouver Mysteries detective will meet you in the lobby with everything you need to play.
The Culinary Experience: This experience includes one drink per person and a delicious, hyper-local Stock Board to share between two people from Stock and Supply. Stock & Supply focuses on approachable yet inventive Pacific Northwest cuisine. Savour their best-selling Stock Board that is unique and customizable and sip on a beverage program that is proudly, exclusively local.
This event runs every Thursday at 7PM and Saturday at 4PM. Please allow for at least 2 – 2.5 hours when planning your day.
