We’ve seen listings for Vancouver Dinner Theatre! Gastown Vampire Ball or Werewolf Ball Immersive Dinner Theatre Experience Water St. Cafe – is this a Vancouver Mysteries experience?

Described as an immersive theatre experience and located on the Second Floor of the Water Street Cafe, the Gastown Vampire Ball and a new show being described as the next chapter, the Werewolf Ball is NOT a Vancouver Mysteries experience.

Vancouver Mysteries brought the first immersive theatre experience to the Second Floor of Water Street Cafe in Gastown during the 2025 Dine Out Festival, with 6 Murder is a Drag shows in January and February 2025 when our third chapter in our Murder is a Drag series premiered there. We loved Water Street Cafe and the team there but we needed a bigger space for our public shows.

If you are looking for Vancouver dinner theatre options by Vancouver Mysteries, please visit our Murder is a Drag page. We have  three chapters of Murder is a Drag. If you are looking for Vancouver Mysteries’ award-winning immersive werewolf experience, you will want to read about Big Top Werewolf (available in person or virtually in a Zoom room).

We also create custom immersive theatre experiences for other venues such as the Vancouver Public Library, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and the VIFF Centre (with more to come, stay tuned).

Murder is a Drag has been running since March 2024- check our calendar for upcoming shows!

Look for our logo or the Vancouver Mysteries name so you know you are getting tickets to our events. In business since 2014, Vancouver Mysteries is proud of the consistently top rated experiences we provide.

Vancouver Mysteries is an incorporated company, privately owned and operated. We are insured, have WCB clearance and we work hard to pay our cast and crew well.

We love to see other immersive productions thrive and succeed in the city! However, we’ve noticed that there is some confusion about this new event upstairs at Water Street Cafe in Gastown (even one of the servers there thought this was a Vancouver Mysteries event). We were the first to bring immersive events to that venue (we approached them about it) and we have run 7 public ticketed events there (6 sold out and 1 full house) plus several private events there. We understand why people feel immersive events there are connected to us, however other events there are not affiliated with Vancouver Mysteries.
