Vancouver Mysteries has teamed up with Cirque Des Morts for the next Crossroads Cabaret show at the ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge – will you help us a solve a mystery?

A mystery unfolds as a story guides you from room to room on the elegant and historic 14th floor of the hotel. (A floor well known for its many ghost sightings, by the way!). You will meet characters along the way, solve puzzles and collect clues. A cocktail reception will conclude the experience. This incredible, unique event was so popular last year that Vancouver Mysteries has been invited to return with a new mystery to solve!

  • Interactive – there will be some puzzles to solve & clues to spot, some smaller roles may also be offered to guests (participation is optional)
  • Immersive – the mystery will unfold around you (get there when doors open so you don’t miss anything!) 
  • 120 minute murder mystery experience (includes intermission). 
  • 19+ 

A fan of Crossroads Cabaret shows, Tanya Bennett (owner Vancouver Mysteries) was thrilled to be invited to collaborate with this show as Scriptwriter and Experience Designer.

Fans of Vancouver Mysteries or Murder is a Drag won’t be surprised to find that guests receive puzzles to solve during the intermission or that every guest has a chance to vote for ‘whodonit’ before the show is over. They may also recognise Crossroads Cabaret Co-Producers Stephanie Cushing and Jenny Bonnycastle from previous Vancouver Mysteries productions (Stephanie stars in Murder at the Movies and 2025’s Castle Confidential and Jenny stars in Murder is a Drag in addition to her roles as Experience Host and Stage Manager at many events). 

Unlike most of Vancouver Mysteries experiences, this murder mystery features the best in vaudeville and circus, because the cast is entirely made up of performers from Cirque Des Morts! 

Crossroad Cabaret a 19+ immersive theatrical experience that runs approximately 4 times a year (and usually sells out so get your tickets soon!).
