The original murder mystery in the Murder is a Drag series created by Vancouver Mysteries.
Vancouver Mysteries is bringing their hit murder mystery Dinner Date With Death to Harrison Hot Springs. This murder mystery is set at a restaurant with some very spicy drama and it’s the perfect recipe for a comedy murder mystery! Can you solve the murder? The suspects and the detective are drag performers (watch for clues to be revealed during their songs!). You don’t need to watch the shows in any order – each one is a standalone story.

THE MURDER IS A DRAG SERIES
We have three chapters of Murder is a Drag and plans for a 4th show . Each chapter takes place in a different setting with a different murder victim and 3 different suspects. These original murder mystery shows are Vancouver Mysteries productions based on scripts written by Tanya Bennett, the owner of Vancouver Mysteries, and are not available anywhere else at this time. You don’t need to see the shows in any particular order – each chapter in the series is a separate murder mystery with a new story and new suspects.

ABOUT VANCOUVER MYSTERIES
Vancouver Mysteries has been bringing fun and mystery to Vancouver and beyond for over 10 years with five outdoor escape games and two mystery dining experiences running 362 days a year in addition to special events with partners such as the Vancouver Public Library, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and VIFF Centre. Vancouver Mysteries experiences are fast-paced and fun with a diverse cast of talented & experienced performers and unique game materials (clues, puzzles, etc).
ABOUT HARRISON HOT SPRINGS RESORT
Harrison Hot Springs Resort is in sasquatch territory and has long been a favourite vacation destination for Vancouver Mysteries owner Tanya Bennett and her kids. She has spent more money than she would like to admit at the gift shops there. Harrison Hot Springs Resort’s origin story begins with the St. Alice Hotel. This hotel was built in 1886, the same year that the Granville townsite officially became an incorporated city called Vancouver. The St. Alice Hotel burned down in 1920 and was rebuilt as the Harrison Hotel. The original structure is still part of the hotel that guests visit today.
About The Copper Room
The Copper Room was added to the hotel in 1939 as a dining and dancing room. A visit to the Copper Room can feel like time travel back to a time when supper clubs with live entertainment and dress codes were common. Fans of movies will also like this room, it’s easy to pretend it’s the 1950s and that the Dirty Dancing is about to begin (there is even a row of detached hotel cabins behind the Copper Room to reinforce your imagination).
