Terms & Conditions

  • Sale ends midnight on December 1
  • This sale can not be combined with other promotions.
  • The maximum capacity for our gift certificates is 6 players.
  • Gift Certificates are only redeemable for Vancouver Mysteries outdoor games.
  • Our booking system only allows one gift certificate to be redeemed per booking. For example, you can’t combine 2 two-player gift certificates to book for 4 people, or combine multiple gift certificates for a large private booking, However you can both sign up for the same public time slot and compete against each other.
  • We can include your free 2 players during purchase – for example, if you want a gift certificate for 6 players, we can create this for you over the phone (you will only pay for 4 players and you will get 2 players free).
  • Our Mystery HQ (our office) is open 10:30AM to 6:30PM daily – if you purchase gift certificates outside of our office hours any free gift certificates earned will be processed at our earliest opportunity when the office re-opens.
  • If you are shopping for last-minute gifts please CALL us during office hours to purchase your gift certificates.
  • This is our first time offering a promotion like this so thank you for your patience.

  • The gift certificate covers the cost of the experience you choose 100% (no extra fees to be paid when booking).
  • Games run every 30 minutes, and we are only closed 3 days a year (September 30, November 11 and December 25).
  • There is an option to email your purchased gift certificates instantly or send it to yourself so you can print it out or send it later. You can also add a personal message! (The free gift certificates you earn will need to be processed by us during office hours – don’t worry, we will see them come in!).
  • 5 different games to choose from, including a superhero game for families with younger kids. (Plus up to two kids under 6 years old on game day can join any team of at least two players for free). Note: Heroes and Villains re-opens on February 13 2026 (both versions – the standard version and the easier one for families with young kids)

Or, call us to purchase your gift certificates by phone. We will process any free gift certificates earned immediately and we can also bundly the gift certificate together into one 6 player gift certificate (you pay for 4 players and get 2 players free).

How to buy a gift certificate.

3 Choose whether you want the gift to be emailed to your recipient or not (select box “Email gift certificate to recipient”). If you don’t select this box, your gift certificate will be emailed to you. You can then print it out or email it to your recipient yourself when the time is right.

6 Enter your information (name, email and phone number)

7 Pay for the gift or choose ‘add another gift’

8 We’ll see your purchase on our end and process any earned free gift certificates at our earliest opportunity (10:30AM to 6:30PM daily)
