A Mystery at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver – It was Halloween Night 1925, the shooting of the final scene of Ruby LaMont’s latest movie for Fairmont Studios “The Lady in Red.” The movie was over budget and behind schedule and movie director Frankie London was working under intense pressure to get the film finished, but managed to take some photos of the talent when they arrived. Here they are! (Note that Frankie was using a “vintage” camera so they are not high resolution!). Castle Confidential productions are original immersive mystery experiences created by Tanya Bennett (writer, director, puzzle designer) produced by the amazing team at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. This year’s Castle Confidential was set in the fictional private residences of millionare and movie studio owner David Fairbanks and his movie star sister Ruby LaMont on the 14th floor of Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The experience combined live theatre with pre-recorded film segements and audio clips and escape game puzzles as a mystery unfolds. Original show dates: Oct 24 & 25 2025. All rights reserved. Castle Confidential 2024 was set in 1939 (the year the hotel opened).
