Vancouver Mysteries, Canada’s first mystery game company, is thrilled to announce that our original game Crime in Downtown is back open for booking as of June 3, 2020!
Always popular, this outdoor murder mystery takes place outside. Players solve challenges and collect clues as a story unfolds in historic Gastown.
Every game begins and ends with one of our Game Operators in character as a detective.

Vancouver Mysteries games have puzzles, locked boxes, clues and artifacts just like an escape room. Crime in Downtown also has large doses of attempted murder, plot twists, and even an infamous informant (hint: he stands on barrel near Maple Square). Is Crime in Downtown an outdoor murder mystery escape room? The difference is that you can play our games outside and each unique storyline comes with its own map and covers a different area of downtown Vancouver. Teams are provided with the tools they need to solve the challenges. Can you solve the mystery?

So much fun!! We were in Vancouver for a Christmas party and wanted an activity for the night before. Vancouver Mysteries was an excellent choice!! Our group of 10 split into two teams and we had a great time dashing around Gastown solving clues! This game is very well organized and everyone enjoyed playing. Highly recommend!

- Games cover 2km and start/end within a few minutes of Waterfront Skytrain station. You will receive further instructions by email after you sign up.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in. If you are making dinner reservations for after the game please allow at least 2 hours for game time.
