Vancouver Mysteries offers five exciting outdoor games, and they are easily adapted to become a special Mystery Picnic. You can choose what you want to eat and plan to eat before or after your mystery for a perfect day.

Best Vancouver Picnic Locations

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is a Vancouver staple, and one of the most beautiful parks in the city. With beautiful gardens, a view of the ocean on the seawall, and a great window into Vancouver’s history this gorgeous park is a fantastic place to grab a blanket and a basket and have a picnic. Perfect for a date spot or a family gathering, this place will make your day better. Nearby restaurants include: Stanley’s Bar and Grill, The Teahouse at Stanley Park, not to mention the park concessions serving burgers, fries, ice cream and more.

Lot 19

A little park, officially called Lot 19, on the corner of West Hastings and Hornby street is close to Vancouver Mysteries games, and that makes it the perfect place for a mystery picnic. They set out tables and chairs seasonally so you can enjoy a picnic right in the middle of the city! With flower bushes and grass patches this park is a cute spot for a picnic and photo op. This little park is also close to Mink chocolates, a great date spot for coffee and desserts. There is also a food court nearby, where the whole family can pick their favourite meal.

Coal Harbour Community Center Park

Right on the water is Coal Harbour, and next to that is a lovely park. Perfect for a waterside picnic this park can also teach you a lot about Vancouver’s history, you can see it on the route of our Heroes and Villains game. This game, and this park, and perfect for families to want to have an adventure and see Vancouver’s sights. The park has all kinds of great restaurants nearby, including Cactus Club, Uno Gelato, Tap and Barrel, and more! Urban Fare is a nearby grocery store that also offers orders for pick up if you want to make your own meals.

Lonsdale Quay

Just across the water is Lonsdale Quay, another beautiful waterside picnic spot. Like the park at Hastings and Hornby this spot has tables and chairs set out for people to sit and eat and have a good time. Nearby restaurants include the food court in the Lonsdale Quay Market, Butter Lane Bake Shop for dessert, and the Lonsdale Green Grocer for fresh produce.

Art Gallery Plaza

Right in from of Vancouver’s beautiful Art Gallery is a plaza of trees, tables, and chairs, and a great place for a picnic in downtown. You can see this picnic spot on your route when you play our Secret Mission game. This game is great for a date night or a team builder. This spot is on West Georgia Street, and is home to a Taqueria food truck, as well as Bellagio Cafe, Faubourg, and also IGA and Meinhardt fine foods for groceries.
