Dinner, Drag, Drinks… and a Detective? A murder mystery drag show at the Show Cellar.

Join us May 30 for the premiere performance of our second Murder is a Drag show: WAKE THE DEAD. Tickets to the Early Show (showtime 7PM, doors 6PM) include dinner, a drink, drag performances and a detective. Tickets to the Late Show (showtime 9:45PM, doors 9:15PM) include the show only but servers will be there to take your orders.

Can you solve the murder?

Interact with the suspects, solve a puzzle, collect clues and help our detective solve the murder!

This event is 19+

• Doors open before showtime (check your event details for timing and plan to arrive early to check in, get seated, place your orders and possibly be given special role assignments)
• Choose the Early Show or Late Show (…but don’t be late!) Private bookings for large groups/tour. operators also available. Contact us for details!
• 90 minute murder mystery experience (with two intermissions)
• Interactive or Just Want to Watch? You get to choose when you book.
• Fun & Games– in the spirit of Vancouver Mysteries games, there are puzzles to solve & clues to spot (optional)
• Drag performances – the suspects will also perform songs!
• Prizes! You can vote for who you think is the murderer!
• Photo Ops with cast after show!

Note: if you want to be seated together, please buy your tickets together! We will do our best to accommodate other requests if you contact us before the event. We can not guarantee seating choice if you wait until the last minute.

Murder Mystery Dinner – If you purchase tickets for the Early Show, the price includes dinner and a drink. Menu selections vary on different show dates and include vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options plus one house beer/wine/well highball. Please reply back from your booking confirmation if you have any dietary restrictions and we’ll pass that information along to the kitchen. We will also send you the menu selection closer to the show date if it’s available to us. Click here to view a sample menu.

Wake the Dead is a brand new show and takes place at a memorial service so we hope you will attend wearing black out of respect for the guest of honour. 

This is the second chapter in a series of Murder Is a Drag experiences. Each chapter will take place in a different setting with a different murder victim and 3 different suspects. Also available for private groups up to 100 people, contact us for information. Chapter One: Dinner Date With Death premiered in March to a sold out audience and re-appeared as a sold out repeat performance in April.
