Host a virtual party! Invite your coworkers, friends or family to meet you online and play games fully hosted by a Game Operator. Your guests can be anywhere in the world! Play from your home, work or hotel.
Choose from 3 different experiences, all 100% unique to Vancouver Mysteries (these games are not available anywhere else). Choose Big Top Werewolf and compete in teams in a zany mystery at the circus that will have you out of your seats. Play Super Trivia and you and your guests are contestants in a live game show – competing in teams for the top score (smaller groups can compete individually too – up to you). Or climb aboard the pirate ship Black Skull and try to outwit each other. Can you solve the murder before one of your friends makes you walk the plank?

VIRTUAL PARTIES – HOW DOES IT WORK?
Just like you would expect from any party event planner, virtual parties are intended to be fun, social and stress-free for the organizer. We welcome special arrangements. Examples: a greeting from the company owner, an extended Zoom room time for socializing after the game (we will add you as a co-host and then leave the room), scheduled intermission for food delivery, etc. The Game Operators can also announce prizes or communicate special messages if provided to us ahead of time. We also can help you with ideas for other activities to bundle with your game, costume and prize ideas, catering recommendations, etc.
FULLY HOSTED VIRTUAL PARTIES
Like our ‘real-life’ games and virtual mystery games, virtual parties include a Game Operator to run the game for you and players compete for the top score (often in teams, it depends on the party game you choose).
Our Game Operators greet you when you arrive, introduce the game, moderate and keep score.

Each of these virtual party games use Zoom in a fun and innovative way!
EASY ONLINE BOOKING
Book your game online and then watch your email for an invitation you can share with your group (including a link to the Zoom room where you will meet your Game Operator).
PRICES
$25/player, minimum 6 players (21-40 players $20/player, 41-80 players $18.50/player, + GST on all games)
PLAYERS CAN BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
Location: Your players can each be at a different location, or you can gather as a groups at a computer, or a combination of both. For example, if you are all working from home, each player might join the game separately from their home office. Or, if you are meeting up with friends or family, each household will join from one computer. Any combination will work!
You can invite people to join you from anywhere as long as they have an internet connection and a computer.
Duration: 1 – 2 hours, depending on the game you choose and the size of your group. You can also bundle games together for extended party time. Book 2 games (one hour apart) or contact us for help.
Capacity: No group size is too big or too small – we have a virtual game right for you! Prices start at $150+ GST for up to 6 players (visit our pricing page for more information). We can also accommodate 150+ players. Call us and we will be your personal virtual game concierge: 778-707-1962.
Availability: Play online 9AM – 11PM, 7 days a week.
Technology: Each location will need a computer (desktop/laptop), a stable internet connection and Zoom (the downloaded version for best results). Players should also have a note pad and paper on hand (and possibly some beverages!?).
Virtual Game Night
Join the circus, complete challenges and solve a mystery! This game is fully-hosted by a Vancouver Mysteries Ringmaster, who guides your team(s) through 6 circus acts that will get you out of your seats and howling with laughter (like a werewolf?). Book the game and invite your friends and let us do the rest!
Murder Mystery
This is a fully-hosted role-playing game experience for 6 to 12 players. Unlike our other virtual games, this is not a team effort and there are no puzzles to solve. Instead, players try to outwit each other and form alliances while they solve a mystery – it’s every pirate for themselves! Can you solve the murder before your friends make you walk the plank?
Trivia Game Show
Have you ever wanted to be a contestant on a game show? Here’s your chance! Host a virtual game night for 6 to 300 of your friends or coworkers. Super Trivia is an interactive, multimedia trivia game with many mystery-themed categories to choose from. A live game show host will meet you online to put you into teams, run your game and keep score.
HOW TO BOOK A VIRTUAL GAME
It’s super easy to book our virtual games online.
1. Click the big red BOOK NOW button on our website and you will see a list of all of the virtual games we have available.

2. Select your number of players and the date and time you want to play.
3. Answer some questions about your event and provide your contact info.
4. Review your booking – this is your chance to change the number of players, time, etc.
5. Click the check out button and then read and accept our Terms and Conditions.
6. Once you confirm your request, watch for a booking confirmation email.

7. Payment of a 50% deposit will secure your spot on our calendar.
8. Full payment is due 24 hours before your game.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your game for a full refund.
