We were thrilled to be included in Katrina Lat’s recent review of immersive theatre in the Vancouver scene for No Proscenium: The Guide to Everything Immersive!

No Proscenium is The Guide to Everything Immersive: immersive theatre, virtual reality, escape rooms, LARPs, site-specific dance/art. It was so wonderful to see our immersive mystery experience company, Vancouver Mysteries, in such great company with experiences all over the world!

Katrina attended and reviewed our new show Murder is a Drag: Rhinestones are Forever during Dine Out Vancouver Festival and described Glimmer Rouge’s performance as a particular standout.

PS Glimmer Rouge was also named Entertainer of the Year 2025 by The Dogwood Monarchist Society (Way to go, Glimmer Rouge!).

We went as a party of 5 to this special event in Vancouver, and had a ball. The premise was attending a memorial service for someone who died, and as it played out, it was found to be a murder. It was all performed by drag performers, and it was totally engaging , interesting and fun. I was done while enjoying a dinner and kept up a good pace, while still allowing you to enjoy your meal. God job - we would definitely do it again!

This Vancouver Mysteries show was a fully performed witty and hilarious drag whodunit play that paired well with cocktails and dinner, with lip synced musical numbers from each cast member, as well as plenty of audience interaction and participation. We all needed to pay close attention to what the performers were saying so that we could help catch the killer.
