Vancouver Mysteries is a locally owned mystery game company that operates themed mystery games all year long. Vancouver Mysteries’ outdoor games were developed in-house and are completely unique, they are not available anywhere else. We are members of local organizations such as Destination Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and support schools and organizations in the greater Vancouver area through the contribution of gift certificates for local fundraising. We also work with other local restaurants, theatre companies and attractions to support each other in promotional partnerships.

Vancouver Mysteries’ owner Tanya Bennett has lived in Vancouver since 1989. Vancouver Mysteries Game Operators are talented actors, writers, local business owners and filmmakers.

Cluetivity outdoor games are app-based, augmented reality games licensed to operators (often escape rooms) in towns all over the world – you can play the same game in many different locations whereas you can only play Vancouver Mysteries outdoor games in one specific place along a carefully designed route.  Cluetivity offers an outdoor spy game described as a city mission called Operation Mindfall which should not be confused with our spy game Secret Mission. In December 2020, Vancouver Mysteries began to offer Cluetivity’s virtual mystery The Pegasus Project. This is a game designed by Cluetivity but when you book the game through us, you interact with one of our Game Operators here in Vancouver.

Unlike other outdoor mystery experiences, Vancouver Mysteries outdoor games do not require use of a phone or tablet. Teams receive a game kit that includes a map, game book, artifacts and tools (with some surprises!). Players receive a badge (sticker) and teams are awarded a certificate at the end of the game. Private bookings of up to 192 players are popular with businesses and schools. Smaller games are popular with locals as well as tourists. Special events such as Mystery Nights also accommodate large groups.
